André Pilastri is a senior researcher in Machine Learning at CCG/ZGDV – ICT Institute Innovation. With over a decade of experience in Data Science and Advanced Optimization research, he holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and is completing a PhD in Informatics Engineering at the University of Porto. His career spans large-scale projects funded by competitive programs such as Portugal 2020, NORTE 2020, COMPETE 2030, and the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). André has authored over 40 publications and boasts a Google Scholar h-index of 14. He actively contributes to high-level international cooperation networks, including the PRODUTECH Digital Innovation Hub, CapTech Communication Information Systems and Networks, and BDVA (Big Data Value Association), fostering impactful knowledge exchange and strategic networking.
